Doctrinal Position
THE BIBLE is inspired by God and without any errors. Today we have faithful translations to guide us as believers.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
GOD is one but exists in three equal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit also known as the Trinity.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
JESUS CHRIST is the Son of God and God the Son. He has always existed as God, was virgin born in human form, led a sinless life on earth, died for man’s sins and was raised bodily from the grave after three days.
(John 1:1; Hebrews 1:8; John 3:16; John 20:16,17)
MAN is born a sinner and is a sinner by deeds. Therefore, without divine intervention will perish in hell.
(Romans 3:23; Titus 3:5)
SALVATION is by grace through faith in Jesus who died in our place. Our works cannot save us.
(Ephesians 2:8,9; Tutus 3:5)
ANGELS are created beings. They are messengers/helpers who serve God.
(Hebrews 1:6,7)
THE DEVIL and the demons are fallen angels who oppose God and believers but have their end in hell.
(Job 1,2; Revelations 20:10)
THE CREATION of all things occurred in six 24-hour days. Man was created complete and did not evolve.
(Genesis 1:27; 2:7)
THE RAPTURE of the church occurs before the tribulation. The millennial kingdom will follow the tribulation.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 3:10; 20:1-5)
AS BAPTISTS we hold to the scriptural distinctives. We major on exalting Christ, preaching the Word to the world, amplifying grace alone, faith alone, and all things to the glory of God alone.
(1 Corinthians 10:31) We believe in living holy lives that honor God.
